Summary

Connect International has finalized the 'Manual for construction of pit latrines'. The manual is available both in English and Portuguese. The manual provides a detailed description, together with professional and easy to understand drawings for the construction of pit latrines. The focus is on the production of a reinforced round dome-shaped slab (diameter 1,3 m), and digging of a proper pit (diameter 0,9 m).
